Halle Dubin, Lower School Director
Halle Dubin has been part of the Joseph & Florence Mandel Jewish Day School family since 1995. She’s been leading grades 1-5 as a teacher since 2005 and became the Lower School Director in 2012. Halle has a Master’s in Education from John Carroll University and another Master’s in Educational Administration from Ursuline College.
Beyond her work at Mandel JDS, Halle has been a key player in teacher training. She’s the lead mentor for the Masters Apprentice Program at Ursuline College and Mandel JDS, helping place master’s degree students as student teachers. She is the school representative on the licensing committee for all Jewish Day Schools in the Cleveland area. She is a mentor for new teachers in the State of Ohio through the RESA Licensing Program.
Halle has been part of Mandel JDS’s Educational Leadership Team since 2005, helping to build a strong team of teachers for the Lower School. Outside of school Halle loves to play pickleball, bake and spend time with her family.
