Jami Morrison, Lower School Teacher

 

Jami Burke has worked at Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School since 2021.  At Mandel, Jami has taught fourth and fifth grade.  Jami began her teaching career in Ashtabula Area City Schools where she taught fourth grade for five years while coaching high school cheerleading.  Prior to that, Jami graduated from the University of Mount Union in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. In 2022, she earned her M.A.Ed. in Special Education for Mild to Moderate Disabilities. Jami has a true passion for working with children and helping them grow. In her spare time, Jami enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, and traveling.
