Darci Heller, Lower School Teacher

Darci Heller began working at Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School in the fall of 2023. Prior to working at Mandel JDS, Darci taught in Virginia for seven years. She has taught first, second, third, and fifth grade. Darci graduated from Kent State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She then earned an M.A.Ed and K-12 Reading Endorsement from Ursuline College in 2016. Darci began her teaching career as a student teacher at Mandel JDS during the 2015-2016 school year, with Christine Catalogna, while attending Ursuline College. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and crafting.
