Karina Case, Spanish Teacher
Karina Case attended Kent State University where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. She then went on to get her M.A. in Spanish from Cleveland State University. She taught Spanish to middle and high school students at the Shaker Heights city schools. After graduating from CSU, she began teaching Spanish at the university, where she remains a faculty member. Having been born in Lima, Peru, Karina is a native Spanish speaker; bringing a wealth of knowledge about the language and the cultural aspect that helps integrate fun with learning. When Karina is not spending time with Ariela, her 8-year-old daughter, she enjoys doing Pilates and walking around downtown Cleveland, where she currently resides.
