Angela Kalina, Lower School Teacher

Angela Kalina will start teaching at Joseph in Florence Mandel Jewish Day School in the fall of 2024. At Mandel JDS, she teaches fifth grade Language Arts and Social Studies. Angela is a graduate from John Carroll University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education. While at John Carroll University, Angela worked with a research team to explore different methods of play-based education and learning in upper elementary grades, focusing on the development of interdisciplinary skill-sets. In her free time, Angela enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.
