Bob Francis, Math Teacher

Bob graduated from Hiram College in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Education and a minor in History.  He earned his Master's in Education Administration in 1997 from Cleveland State University.  He has 34 years in education prior to joining the staff at Mandel J.D.S. in the fall of 2024.  During his time in education he has taught several subjects early in his career, served as an assistant principal, and also in the role of Director Of Student Activities/A.D.  However, the focus of his career since 2013 has been teaching middle school math and advanced middle school math courses.  He  has also worked with math students across multiple grade levels in pursuit of entering into advanced math pathways.  Bob has a passion for helping students to grow mathematically through rigor, effort, and perseverance.  Outside of school, Bob is active with his family, running, reading, and working with student-athletes in various athletics.
